About the PGIA Foundation
Welcome to the PGIA Foundation. The Foundation was established following the untimely death of Her Royal Highness, Princess Gladys Itohan Akenzua, in June 2006, from Cancer. The foundation sets out to help the less privileged, the homeless, and the sick around the globe in particular Africa. Your continued financial support is the key to our existence.
Our primary aim is to help those who are not able to pay hospital bills, those who do not have means of taking care of themselves nor any help from their family due to expensive health care and hardship. In particular we try to assist the treatment of young children who suffer from different curable diseases.
We seek the support of individuals, Institutions, Non-Governmental Organisations and the general public to help our cause. If we are successful in our aims, we strongly believe that the Foundation will be able to go a long way in saving lives and getting the homeless and needy off the streets.
The PGIA Foundation has been active for quite sometime now with 100% of our funding being a non-interest loan given privately by our board of Trustees - whom to-date have never requested their monies to be repaid.
Due to limited sourcse of revenue. we have not been able to sufficiently meet the great demands within the areas which we operate. Please let us join together to put an everlasting smile on the faces of the poor and needy, the sick men, women and children and the less priviledged in our society.
